The Book of Life – 2023
In a loud voice they were saying: ‘Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and praise!’” — Revelation 5:12
This artwork was born from a deep conviction to proclaim the revelation of the power of Jesus’ blood—a truth I sensed has often been overlooked or distorted through deception. As I prayed and painted, I felt a boldness to declare the significance of His blood and the eternal purpose established before the foundation of the world, when the Lamb was slain for the redemption of humanity.
The orbit-like space within the painting represents God’s eternal plan, extending beyond time itself. It reflects the reality that the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world, revealing the Father’s redemptive heart from the beginning. As I painted the flow of blood from the Lamb, the Holy Spirit spoke to me through the process. I suddenly saw His blood not merely as a symbol, but as life itself—flowing through my veins.
This became deeply personal as I remembered how Jesus supernaturally healed me after a stroke in 2021, restoring the left side of my body within a single night. In that moment, I experienced the life-giving power of His blood as a living reality—the same blood that was shed at Calvary continues to bring healing, restoration, and new life today.
As the painting developed, I felt the Lord calling me to boldly proclaim the Power in His blood—the blood of the covenant poured out for the forgiveness of sins. Through His sacrifice, a way has been made for our names to be written in the Book of Life and to enter eternal fellowship with the Father.
Another revelation emerged: His blood flowed to form a crown that surrounds and upholds the Book of Life. Though Jesus was crowned with thorns, His blood reveals a greater crown—of victory, redemption, and grace—making provision for many to enter the Kingdom of God.
The Book of Life is both testimony and invitation: to behold the Lamb who was slain, to receive forgiveness through His blood, and to embrace eternal life with the Father.
Matthew 26:28
“For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
