Divine Blueprint by Eve Ong 2019 – Artist Description

In this vision God highlights the “Family Mountain”, based on the seven mountain theory by Dr. Lance Wallnau. He identifies these mountains as mind moulders of society which influence the way mankind think and behave. According to God’s masterplan for the family in Gen 1:28, the commandment is to be fruitful and multiply, filling the earth and subduing it. In order to accomplish this, a man and a woman coming together in holy union, creates the foundation of a wholesome and blessed family. The offspring that will be brought forth, will then fill and subdue the earth through the mighty but gracious right hand of God the Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Family is the building block of society. Families across the world have been under constant and prolonged attack. The enemies are fatherlessness, divorce, homosexual marriage, pornography, etc. Without healthy marriages there can be no healthy families! God is restoring marriage in order to restore society. He wants to bring healing to marriages and relationships within families to build a moral foundation for the future generation to stand upon.

Testimony

In January 2019, I felt a strong urgency to paint Jesus riding on a white horse, inspired by Revelation 19:11. However, as I sought the Lord, I sensed Him saying, “No.”

Instead, I felt led to create a prophetic artwork addressing the spiritual and cultural shifts taking place within Singapore during that season. The Lord highlighted the importance of the Family Mountain, emphasizing His heart for family, marriage, and future generations. This focus was informed by the Seven Mountains framework taught by Dr. Lance Wallnau.

At that time, I found myself wondering how an artwork displayed in my living room could possibly influence the spiritual atmosphere over Singapore. Nevertheless, I chose to obey what I sensed God was asking me to do and began painting.

By 18 January, a friend invited me to participate in the Bless Asia art exhibition, which I took as a confirmation that the assignment carried significance beyond my personal space and into a wider platform.

On 10 October 2019, the opening ceremony for the Bless Asia art exhibition took place. That same evening, I came across a news article reporting that several legal cases relating to family and marriage-related laws in Singapore were scheduled to be heard in the following month. What stood out to me was that the article was also dated 10 October 2019, the very day of the exhibition opening.

I was deeply reminded of God’s timing and the privilege of participating in what I believed was His work in shaping the spiritual atmosphere of the nation.

The artwork, titled Divine Blueprint, reflects what I perceived as God’s design for family, inspired by Genesis 1:28: “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.” It expresses the conviction that the union of a man and a woman in marriage forms the foundation of family, which in turn contributes to the strength and flourishing of society and future generations
