Pro-Onion
For Oneness. Forward in Unity. ✨
Vision
This morning during my quiet time, I saw the large word “ProOnion.”
When I woke up, I asked the Holy Spirit whether it was the name of a company or something else. I sensed Him say, “Check the meaning of onion.”
As I searched, I discovered that beyond referring to the vegetable, its Latin root, unio, means “one” or “single.”
Then I asked, “Lord, what does ‘Pro’ mean?” The prefix pro means for, forward, or in favour of.
Putting the two together, I sensed the Lord speaking about being for Oneness—moving forward in unity and championing His heart for His people to be one in Christ.
Scripture
“That they all may be one, just as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
Reflection
May we be people who are for Oneness—choosing unity over division, love over offence, and moving forward together as one Body in Christ.
May our lives become an answer to Jesus’ prayer, so that the world may see His love through our unity.
