Beyond Eden II showcases one of Eve’s signature styles which encompass surrealism which invites one into the fourth dimension. Her intricate use of the falling leaves creates an illusion of the first man and woman ever created as depicted in the breath of GOD coming from heavenly unto the earthly realm.
The significance of the painting largely rests on the way we view the man and the woman. If one looks from the front view, the normal way remains that we see the disproportionate body structure of the figures. Imperfect as it may seem nonetheless, the view becomes perfect when we change our perspective and view this masterpiece from the right. As Jesus was sitting at the right hand of the Father, we ought not to see this painting any other way but from the right, just as Jesus would. The implication is to see things from His point of view.
One cannot help but recognize the beauty of the process of creation in this painting and its magnificence that was being magnified in view of the small earth down below. Close observation shows that even the twigs are overlaid with gold as the glory which came from GOD’s breath is intertwined in His creation of humankind made in His image. The stems of the leaves are also woven into the thick atmosphere as if a needle of thread was being sewed into the canvas. Quintessentially Eve, the painting poses a challenge to our natural viewpoint and set the stage for greater quest for higher dimension of truth.
