HEart of Glory

Exhibition Dates: 13 March 2018 to 16 March 2018

Artist Statement:

Often when people ask me – “Eve, what do you do?”  I’d answer them, “I am a Prophetic Artist,” which often draws a frown on their face. They then would ask again, “What is prophetic art?”

The word – ‘Prophetic’ means a message sent by God through a person who is filled with the Holy Spirit that carries the heart, mind and will of our Heavenly Father.
It can come through any channel like a spoken or written word, a poem, a song, visual art, visions, dreams, or even through an individual’s life, example, Hosea in the bible. Those who function in the gift of prophecy will be acquainted with receiving these prophetic revelations within our spirit man by the Holy Spirit through seeing, sensing or knowing, among many other ways.

Ultimately as a prophetic artist, one merely reproduces a picture, vision or a concept in a visual art form.  Apart from artistic skills and talent, one should have a spiritual gift of prophecy and is gifted and anointed by God to minister through art.  An intimate relationship with God is of utmost important as an artist is like a vessel who expresses His love through art to people.

We named this exhibition –  HEart of Glory because the emphasis is this key word, HEart. HE, who is Jesus, must take precedence in our heart in everything we do and every way we live.  In that, we will be transformed into a vessel fit for our Master’s use to carry His anointing to preach powerfully, heal miraculously or free the oppressed supernaturally.  This is for us, as end-time warriors to advance and conquer till the Kingdom comes.

This exhibition features some artworks through surrealistic and conceptual approaches so as to bring the unseen realms to affront our seen realm.

Just as Hebrews 11:1 – 3 NKJV
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
